Day 1: Ho Chi Minh - Mui Ne

7:30AM: Heading out of town, we drive 200km on very good roads linking Ho Chi Minh to Phan Thiet, which boasts one of Vietnam’s biggest production of fish sauce. The scenic road passes Phan Thiet Town before arriving at Mui Ne. The endless white sand beaches, the charming fishing villages, the desert-like dunes and numerous types of rare flora and fauna make Muine an ideal place for any one seeking an enjoyable escape. After checking into hotel, you have free time to relax on a beach.

The relaxing and swimming are not the only activities in Muine. At 2.30PM you will start a short interesting trip to visit a fishing village, the Yellow and White Sand Dunes which is the top attraction at Mui Ne after the beach itself. A small stand of pine trees sitting on the bank of lotus lakes makes it a marvelous landscape. Overnight at Mui Ne

Day 2: Mui Ne - Ho Chi Minh
This morning you will have time for last swimming until you board our vehicle at 1:30PM for a 4-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. The trip ends on arrival in Ho Chi Minh around 6:30PM

Overview

Mui Ne beaches belong to Phan Thiet town located in the Binh Thuan province. 200 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, it is on the southern most tip of Central Vietnam.

Legend has it that Han Mac Tu, a talented poet spent his time in Phan Thiet waiting for the lady of his dream, Mong Cam.

Phan Thiet is home to some of the most beautiful and the most visited of the Vietnam tourist attractions. To the east of Phan Thiet are some exquisite beaches, one of the greatest attractions in the region. They are totally different from one another.

While some are lined with coconut trees, the others are next to vast sand dunes. There is the beautiful Bai Rang, 15 kilometer northeast of Phan Thiet. It is beautifully lined with coconut trees. This beach has the Da Ong Dia (boulders of the Earth God) and the Suoi Tien (Celestial Stream).

The town of Phan Thiet has an appeal of its own. The streets are lined with colonial villas. The Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Ong Pagoda are some of the major tourist attractions.

The most famous tourist attraction in Phan Thiet is the Mui Ne Sand Dunes. 12 miles east of Phan Thiet the sand dunes are nothing short of nature’s work of art. The elements of wind have given it a shape worth viewing. The most popular tourist activity is sledding down the sand dunes on plastic sheeting.

Another attraction of Phan Thiet is its proximity to Cape Mui Ne. It is a 21km of long arc of fine sand with a perfect combination of the sun and blue pacific water giving rise to a spectacular view.

The curved southern coast bay is shaded by coconut palms and with a gentle arc around the azure waters of the South China Sea. The daily breezes that whip through the bay have shaped the coastline, creating a stunning landscape of white and red sand dunes, as well as a watersports industry.

Mui Ne has quickly been transformed from an isolated stretch of beautiful white sand to one long row of resorts. Mui Ne has become the kite-surfing capital of Asia. There’s still a fishing village at the east end of the beach..
